Andrea Tandara has a comprehensive work experience in the field of surgery and hand surgery. Andrea began their career as a Surgery Resident in the Department of General and Visceral Surgery in 1995 and worked there until 2001. Andrea then pursued further specialization in plastic surgery at BG Unfallklinik Ludwigshafen in 2001. Following this, they gained experience as a Research Associate at Northwestern University Chicago from 2002 to 2004. Andrea then focused on hand surgery and completed fellowships at Karl-Olga-Krankenhaus, BG Unfallklinik Frankfurt, and Institut de la Main. Andrea worked as a Research Associate at Institut de la Main/Ecole de Chirurgie Fer à Moulin in 2011. Andrea then joined Heidelberg University Hospital as a Consultant Hand Surgeon and later became the Head of Division of Surgery of the Hand at the Department of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery, ALB FILS KLINIKEN GmbH in 2016.
