Wei Ying Wong has a strong background in environmental studies and conservation biology, with experience in various educational and leadership roles. They have held positions such as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Science & Education Officer at the Alaska SeaLife Center. Additionally, they have served as the Vice President Learning & Innovation at Woodland Park Zoo and as the Director of Conservation Impact at Philadelphia Zoo. Their expertise extends to roles at The Ocean Project, Umani Pte Ltd, and Connecticut College, where they have taught courses and conducted research in environmental communications. Wei Ying Wong holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Environmental Studies from Brown University and has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Durham and the University of Toronto.
