Carrie Goertz is the Director of Animal Health at Alaska SeaLife Center, overseeing the health and welfare of all animals housed at the center, including marine mammals and birds. Carrie has extensive experience in veterinary medicine and has held various roles in wildlife consulting and veterinary internships. Carrie has a DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University and a BS in Biology from UMass Boston.
