Steven Utter is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering at Alarm.com since July 2014, Steven oversees a team responsible for the support and management of in-house and cloud-based solutions across multiple data centers and systems globally. In previous roles, including Senior Manager and Manager of Cloud Systems at Alarm.com, Steven demonstrated expertise in IT strategy formulation, application lifecycle management, and workforce development, achieving significant employee retention rates through effective coaching and mentorship. Prior to Alarm.com, Steven held the position of Team Lead for Systems Engineering at General Dynamics Information Technology, where leadership of teams focused on data center virtualization led to substantial reductions in power usage and datacenter footprint.
