Mindy Wen has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Mindy currently works as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Alameda Health System since September 2021. Previously, Mindy held the position of Licensed Clinical Social Worker on per diem basis at Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinics at UCSF starting from October 2018. Mindy also worked as a General Inpatient Hospice Nurse at By The Bay Health from March 2021 to August 2021. Before that, Mindy served as a Psychiatric Nurse at Pathway To Wellness from November 2020 to February 2021, and as a Hospice Nurse at Suncrest Home Health & Hospice from July 2020 to November 2020.

Earlier in their career, Mindy worked as a Hospice Nurse at Crossroads Home Health and Hospice from December 2019 to June 2020, and as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) Intern at Stanford Health Care from October 2019 to March 2020. Mindy also gained experience as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) Intern at On Lok Lifeways from October 2018 to June 2019.

In addition, Mindy has worked as a Behavioral Health Clinician at City and County of San Francisco from November 2016 to June 2017, where they served as the primary clinician in both the Adult and Child teams and provided ongoing psychotherapy in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Mindy also acted as an expert in community resources among the SF Bay Area Counties. Prior to that, Mindy worked as a Medical Social Worker on the Home Visit Team at Brown & Toland Physicians from September 2015 to October 2016.

Mindy Wen began their education at California State University - East Bay in 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Mindy successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2004. Following this, Mindy enrolled in California State University - East Bay once again and earned a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) between 2004 and 2006. Lastly, in 2017, Mindy pursued a Master's Entry Program in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Their nursing education lasted until 2020.
