Ganiyu Hassan has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Ganiyu started their career at Dr. Bosch Automotive Dealers in 2000, where they worked as an Operations Manager for nearly a decade. In 2009, they joined NET 2g Technologies Limited as a System Administrator, where they provided hardware and software solutions and managed customer relations and information services. In 2010, Ganiyu became a Supervisor and Security Officer at Happy Days Patrol Inc., where they were responsible for conducting interviews, developing job descriptions, and managing contracts.

In 2011, Ganiyu joined Alameda Health System as a Medical Assistant/Clinical EHR Super User/Application Analyst. In this role, they participated in improvement processes, ensured quality data collection and documentation, and completed environment of care reports. Ganiyu later became the Interim Point of Care Coordinator for Ambulatory/Clinical Service Analyst, where they developed and revised point of care testing policies and managed compliance issues.

Ganiyu then pursued a Certificate in Medical Assistant, First Aid, and BLS certification from Merritt Community College from 2010 to 2011. In 2011-2012, they attended Stride Center and earned a certification as a Certified Computer Tech/CompTIA A+ in Computer Engineering Technology/Technician. Additionally, in 2012, Ganiyu received a Certified N+ degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from The Stride Center.

Expanding their knowledge, Ganiyu pursued a Master's degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Informatics from the University of Phoenix, which they completed from 2014 to 2016.

Ganiyu also received a Point of Care Specialist certification from the American Association of Clinical Chemistry in April 2017. Ganiyu holds various Microsoft certifications, namely Certified Microsoft Specialist, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, all obtained in February 2014 and December 2015. Lastly, they acquired a Chronic Care Assistant certification from Merritt College in March 2013.
