Mike Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Mike started their career as a Business Development Assistant at Armanino McKenna LLP from 2003 to 2006. Mike then transitioned to the education sector, working as a Teacher at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District from 2007 to 2008. After that, Mike joined the California After School & Healthy Kids Resource Centers, where they worked as a Multimedia Resource Specialist from 2008 to 2012 and later as a Program Assistant and Fiscal Lead from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined the Alameda County Office of Education, where they held several roles, including Accounting Specialist, Budget Analyst/Accountant II, Business Analyst, and currently, Labor and Employee Relations Director. Mike has accumulated a wide range of skills and experience in financial management, budgeting, accounting, and employee relations.
Mike Evans earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from San Jose State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Mike then furthered their education by pursuing a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Finance at California State University - East Bay from 2011 to 2014.
