Shambaiah Chepuri began their work experience as a Software Engineer at Fujitsu Network Communications in November 2000 and worked until August 2002. Shambaiah then joined OAT Systems Pvt Ltd as a Senior Developer in 2002, where they stayed until 2004. In 2005, Shambaiah joined Alacriti Info Systems Pvt Ltd, where they held the position of Project Manager/Operations Head. At Alacriti, they led the engineering team in India and played a crucial role in delivering technology solutions to clients. Alacriti specializes in developing and implementing payment-related financial solutions.

Shambaiah Chepuri pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 1994 to 1998. Following this, they went on to obtain a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, completing their studies from 1998 to 2000.
