Amanda Priest is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in government and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Director for the Alabama Office of the Attorney General since March 2023, Amanda previously held similar roles in the Arkansas Attorney General's Office from July 2018 to March 2023 and as a Special Projects Coordinator from September 2017 to July 2018. A background in youth empowerment through roles at YWCA Enid and leadership experience as Executive Director of the Merced County Farm Bureau highlight Amanda's diverse skill set. Previous positions include research roles with the National Republican Congressional Committee and Texans For Kay Bailey Hutchison, demonstrating proficiency in political research and communication strategies. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Presbyterian College.
