Joel Basrally is an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in firewall migration projects and network security implementations. Currently employed at the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency since May 2016, Joel has successfully migrated critical business traffic to Checkpoint firewalls and provides ongoing production support, implementing security protocols and managing various network technologies. Previous roles include network security responsibilities at the Alabama Department of Finance and a network engineering position at HP, where contributions to significant migration projects were made. Joel possesses multiple certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Professional and Fortinet Certified Network Security Administrator, alongside degrees in Information Communications Technology and Network Management from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.
