Harun Biswas has a diverse work experience in the field of project and facilities management. Harun currently serves as the Regional Director of Projects & Facilities at the Alabama Community College System since April 2022. In this role, they oversee the system's 24 community and technical colleges, including the Alabama Technology Network and Marion Military Institute.

Prior to their current position, Harun worked at Clayton State University as the Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management from March 2002 to April 2022. At Clayton State, they managed the university's facilities and was responsible for maintaining the campus grounds.

Before joining Clayton State, Harun served as the Director of Facilities Planning and Physical Plant Operations at Middle Georgia State University from August 1998 to February 2002. During their tenure at Middle Georgia State, they oversaw the planning and operations of the university's physical plant across multiple campuses.

Harun also gained experience as a Project Manager at Georgia State University from May 1990 to July 1998. Their responsibilities at Georgia State included managing various projects and collaborating with a diverse student body and faculty.

Throughout their career, Harun Biswas has demonstrated their expertise in facilities management, planning, and project management. Harun has a strong background in the educational sector and has worked effectively in diverse institutions.

Harun Biswas, AIA, AICP, CEM, LEED AP, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Louisiana Tech University, where they studied from 1985 to 1988. Prior to that, Harun completed an Associate's Degree in Pre-Architecture at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College from 1981 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) from the American Planning Association, CEM (Certified Energy Manager) from the Association of Energy Engineers, LEED AP from USGBC National Capital Region, NCARB (National Council Architectural Board) from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is a Registered Architect certified by the Georgia Secretary of State.
