Ali Khalil serves as the Chairperson of the Bariatric Endoscopy Committee for the Arab Board of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy since June 2024. Ali has held the position of Head of the Gastroenterology Division at AMAN Hospital since September 2021 and has been a Senior Consultant at BMG - Bikhazi Medical Group since September 2008. Additionally, Ali is the Vice President of the Medical Committee and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Al-Zahraa Hospital University Medical Center since September 2006, and continues to work as a Senior Consultant at Clemenceau Medical Center since February 2008. Ali has extensive experience in invasive endoscopy as a Consultant at Makassed University Hospital since September 2007 and previously led the Endoscopic Department at Rafik Hariri University Hospital from July 2004 to July 2016. Academic roles include Assistant Professor at Hôpital Saint Philibert and various teaching positions at Lebanese universities. Ali holds degrees from Université catholique de Lille and Lebanese Universities, specializing in gastroenterology and interventional endoscopy.
