Talha Ul Islam FCII is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Engineering and Liabilities at Al Dhafra Insurance Co. PSC since August 2022. Previously, Talha held the position of Executive Vice President at Jubilee General Insurance Company Ltd from June 2021 to January 2023 and served as General Manager of Reinsurance at Adamjee Insurance Company Limited from February 2019 to January 2021. Between June 2013 and July 2017, Talha worked as Group General Manager at Capital Shield Insurance Brokers and was Deputy General Manager at Insurance House from March 2011 to November 2012. Talha's career also includes a lengthy tenure at Al Dhafra Insurance Co. PSC from November 1996 to March 2011 as Assistant General Manager Technical. Talha is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has an educational background from COD School and Karachi University. Currently, Talha is open to new opportunities.
