Claudiu Lazar is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project management and design engineering within the marine and offshore industries. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at AKVA group, Claudiu has designed and engineered systems while coordinating with Technical Designers and overseeing design documentation. Prior roles include mechanical and structural engineering positions at Shipcad AS and BAE Systems, where Claudiu focused on creating 3D models, documentation, and supporting sales activities. With significant experience in detail engineering and project coordination, Claudiu has contributed to various notable projects, including multi-purpose offshore vessels and service operation vessels, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and FORAN. Claudiu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial and Technological Engineering from "Lower Danube" University Galati, Romania.
