Chandra Kanth P. is a Scientist at Akums LifeSciences Limited since April 2021, leading a team of seven in process development to create manufacturing processes for APIs and intermediates. Responsibilities include synthesizing routes, optimizing plans, coordinating tech-transfer, troubleshooting, and regulatory documentation. Previously, Chandra served as a PhD Researcher and Junior/Senior Research Fellow at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University from 2013 to 2020, while also teaching subjects such as Biochemistry and Green Chemistry. A visiting researcher at the University of Alberta in 2017, Chandra's earlier experience includes working as a Research Chemist at Panacea Biotec from 2010 to 2013, focusing on API development and technology transfer. Chandra holds a PhD in Chemistry from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, a Master's in Organic Chemistry from Kakatiya University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from Osmania University.
