Thomas Cuthbert, DMP, DABR, currently serves as a Medical Physicist at Aktina Medical since June 2023. Previously, Cuthbert worked as a Post-Graduate Research Intern at the National Cancer Institute from June to August 2019, where research focused on organ dose calculation for patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures and contributing to the development of the NCINM dose calculation software. During the summer of 2018, Cuthbert acquired hands-on experience through a shadowing opportunity with a senior medical physicist at Baylor Scott & White Health, observing procedures such as external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. Cuthbert holds a Doctorate of Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology from UT Health San Antonio, attained in June 2023, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in June 2019.
