Jeffrey Haworth has over 8 years of work experience in the biotechnology industry. In 2012, they began their career as an Assistant Facility Manager at W.R. Sharples Company, Inc. In 2014, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Dubin Research Group and a Server at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2015, they held an Engineering Intern role at Victaulic. In 2016, they were a Process Engineer at PCI. In 2017, they were a Process Engineer I at Shire. In 2018, they were a Process Engineer II at Takeda and an Adjunct Professor at Quincy College. Finally, in 2019, they were a Manager of Downstream Process Development at Akston Biosciences Corporation, where they designed and scaled up the purification process for a novel Fc-fusion Covid-19 vaccine from inception through Phase III clinical trials and projected commercialization. Jeffrey also functioned as the subject matter expert for liquid and membrane chromatography, column packing, automated recipe creation, tangential flow filtration, viral filtration, and emulsion particle sizing.

Jeffrey Haworth completed their education with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016. Prior to that, they attended North Attleboro High School from 2008 to 2012.
