Annie Bartels Solberg has extensive experience in early childhood education, currently serving as a Preschool Teacher at Akron-Westfield Community School District since August 2014, focusing on a fully inclusive classroom and participating in the Iowa Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program. Prior to this role, Annie worked as a Special Education Aide in fourth-grade classrooms and spent many years as a Dance Instructor at Akron Dance Depot, teaching ballet and tap to preschool through second-grade dancers. Additionally, Annie held positions as an Interim Director and Preschool Teacher at Akron Children's Center from 2004 to 2015. Annie holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from South Dakota State University and another degree in Inclusive Classroom/Special Education from Northwestern College.
