Shaun McCullagh has relevant work experience in the field of cloud engineering, consulting architecture, and Linux system administration. Shaun started working at Aknostic in January 2019 as a Cloud Engineer, where they currently remain. Prior to this, Shaun worked at Imaginaerum BV as a Consultant Architect from September 2017 to November 2018. Shaun also gained experience as a Linux System Administrator at Portavita from January 2017 to August 2017.

Shaun McCullagh attended The University of Salford from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a B. Sc. (Hons) degree in Electronics. In addition to their formal education, Shaun has also received several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2019, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate certifications. In 2020, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification. Later, in 2021, Shaun obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
