Judith Adem Owigar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in smart and electric mobility, technology, and capacity building. Currently serving as a Smart and Electric Mobility Consultant at UN-Habitat, Judith provides technical assistance and coordinates workshops to promote electric mobility initiatives. Judith is also the Founder and CEO of JuaKali Workforce Limited, aimed at creating livelihood opportunities for youth in Kenya’s informal sector. As a co-founder of AkiraChix, Judith works to empower women in technology across Africa. Judith’s previous roles include Operations Director at AkiraChix, Board Member at SPIDER, and Researcher at the Urban Electric Mobility Initiative, among others. Judith holds a PhD in Information Systems and has a strong academic background with Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Applied Computing and Computer Science, respectively. Key accomplishments include the development of Somalia’s first bio data information system in collaboration with UNDP.
