Yves Zimmermann is the Head of Engineering and Head of Software Engineering at Akina since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoktorand and PhD student at ETH Zürich from August 2017 to April 2023, focusing on hardware and software development for robot-assisted neurotherapy. Yves also held the position of Head of Discipline for the Powered Leg Prosthesis Race at CYBATHLON from December 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities included task improvement and technical scrutineering. Additional roles include teaching assistant positions and leadership in various engineering projects at ETH Zürich, alongside an internship in R&D at Trumpf Maschinen Baar. Yves holds a PhD in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science, and a Bachelor of Science, all obtained from ETH Zürich.
