Shimanta Dutta has a strong background in agricultural education and management, currently serving as a Facilitator at Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) since February 2022 and as an Assistant Manager at Akij Group since April 2021. Shimanta Dutta earned a Master's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education Services from Sylhet Agricultural University, completed in December 2019, following a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the same institution, obtained in October 2016.
