Tone Søvik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tone currently works at Aker Solutions as the Vice President of Finance Digitalization & Transformation, where they are responsible for leading a global resource management improvement initiative and ensuring standardized management reporting. Prior to this role, they served as the Digitalization Director and Senior Manager at Aker Solutions, focusing on developing and implementing digitalization and transformation strategies for the finance function. Tone also held roles as a Senior Specialist and Global Work Process Owner at Aker Solutions, where they worked on standardization, transformation, and digitalization in the finance and project controlling areas. Before joining Aker Solutions, they worked at Findus Norge AS as a Category Manager, overseeing the company's private label product portfolio. Tone also worked at NMC Norge AS as a Product & Marketing Manager and at SoundEar as a Marketing Manager. Additionally, Tone gained valuable experience as a guide at Geiranger Fjordservice AS and as a trainee at Glamox Licht GmbH. Overall, Tone has a strong background in finance, digitalization, project controlling, and marketing.

Tone Søvik completed their education at various institutions. Tone began their educational journey by pursuing an Executive Master of Management degree at BI Norwegian Business School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Copenhagen Business School from 1999 to 2000, where they studied Marketing, Finance, and Organization in pursuit of a cand.mag. degree. Before their time at Copenhagen Business School, Tone attended Østfold University College (HiØ) from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a cand. mag. degree in Business German and International Affairs. In addition, they completed a cand.mag. degree in Tysk Grunnfag at Volda University College (HVO) from 1996 to 1997. Their educational journey started at Volda videregående skule from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Allmenfag, focusing on Mathematics, German, and Biology.
