Oddgeir Gramstad is an experienced data professional currently serving as an Advanced Data Scientist at Aker BP ASA since August 2022, where responsibilities include acting as Technical Authority within the Data Science & Innovation division. Prior to this role, Oddgeir held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Aker BP, focusing on data science and innovation in the Data Governance and Digital Transformation department. From January 2005 to August 2022, Oddgeir worked at Schlumberger as a Principal Data Scientist, developing and implementing machine learning workflows for subsurface interpretation. Oddgeir's earlier career includes positions as Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Reservoir Laboratories AS from June 1995 to December 2004, where involvement included core storage and preparation as well as laboratory equipment development. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Cybernetics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Automation) from the University of Stavanger.
