Alexis Desaegher is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in cloud engineering and site reliability. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Lead SRE at Akeneo since September 2019, Alexis leads a team of seven in empowering development teams with GCP projects and contributing to the design and implementation of new cloud-native services. Prior to Akeneo, Alexis worked at iAdvize as a Cloud Engineer, maintaining and enhancing existing Nomad clusters. Experience at OUI.sncf involved driving the strategic shift to public cloud adoption, primarily with AWS, and developing a "cloud as a service" solution. Earlier roles included integration and system administration, showcasing a diverse skill set in various cloud and integration technologies since starting in the industry in 2009.
