Rebecca Fitzpatrick, CPA, currently serves as the Senior External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager at Akebia Therapeutics since July 2021, having previously held the position of External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager. Prior experience includes roles at BDO USA, LLP, where Rebecca progressed from Audit Intern to Experienced Assurance Associate and then to Senior Assurance Associate between June 2016 and July 2021. Early career experience includes working as a Teller at First Citizens' Federal Credit Union from May 2014 to June 2016. Rebecca holds dual degrees in Finance (BBA) and Accounting (BS) from Elon University, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2017.
