Pamela Monefeldt Ojala has extensive experience in human resources and people operations, currently serving as Sr. People Operations Manager at Akebia Therapeutics since October 2016, where previous roles included People Operations Manager, Sr. HR Specialist, and HR Specialist. Prior to Akebia, Pamela worked as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Shire and Baxalta, contributing to talent acquisition efforts after each company's acquisitions. Pamela also gained experience as an HR Representative and Human Resources Intern at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Academically, Pamela holds a Master's degree in International Business from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Human Resources from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
