Kim Hodges has worked in various roles related to digital accessibility since 2010. Kim began as a Graduate Student at Western Michigan University in 2015 and then moved to 2U as Director of Digital Accessibility. In 2016, they became the Chief Accessibility Officer at AKEA Web Solutions, LLC, and in 2020 they began their current role as Director of Digital Accessibility at the University of South Carolina.

Kim Hodges earned their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology/Criminal Justice from Liberty University between 2010 and 2014. Kim then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Orientation and Mobility from Western Michigan University between 2015 and 2016.
