Brent Thomsen has been working in the creative industry since 1990. Brent began their career at Penguin Graphic Design as a Graphic Designer. In 1994, they joined Strategic America as an Art Director, where they were responsible for the design and overall consistent look of various collateral materials for multiple clients. In 1997, Brent moved to The Integer Group as a Design Director/Senior Art Director, and was responsible for the design and overall look for various projects, including branding and logos, point of purchase, annual reports, ads, brochures, direct mail, and web. In 2009, Brent started their own company, brent thomsen design + creative (btd+c), where they served as Creative Director and Owner. In this role, Brent was responsible for strategic, memorable creative that began with building client relationships and working as a team to bring an idea to life. In 2010, Brent joined AKC Marketing as Creative Director.

Brent Thomsen attended Des Moines Area Community College from 1988 to 1991 and received an Associate in Applied Arts in Graphic Design.
