Varun Khare is a Principal Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies with previous experience as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, Khare worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Verivue, contributing to the development of the Aura Licensed CDN solution. With a background in Computer Science, Khare also served as a Research Assistant at The University of Arizona, focusing on CDN Request Routing algorithms to reduce operational bandwidth costs. Khare holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, along with a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
