Jimena Ortiz currently serves as a Practicum Student at the El Paso Food Pharmacy Program, where efforts focus on addressing the 15.1% food insecurity rate in the community. In addition, Jimena has been a Project Manager at Akahi Associates since June 2021. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at El Paso, completed in May 2021, and ongoing pursuit of a Master's in Public Health at the same institution, expected to conclude in December 2024. Jimena's educational background also includes a High School Diploma from Silva Health Magnet, awarded in May 2017.
