Kristian Pedersen is an accomplished scientist and academic leader with extensive experience in space science and research management. Currently affiliated with DARK at the Niels Bohr Institute and serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Copenhagen Hazard Mapping, Kristian has held significant roles such as Professor in Space Science and Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Aarhus University. With a notable tenure as National Representative on the Steering Committee for the ESA Euclid space mission, Kristian coordinates Danish contributions to this initiative. Additionally, Kristian has been involved with various boards and committees, contributing to academic and scientific endeavors, while holding a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the Niels Bohr Institute and a Cand scient in Physics/Astronomy from the University of Copenhagen.
