Yunhwan Lee is a distinguished academic in preventive medicine and public health, currently serving as a Professor at Ajou University since March 1999. With extensive research experience focusing on the health of older adults, Yunhwan Lee co-founded the Korean Frailty and Aging Cohort Study and has utilized national datasets to develop a healthy aging index. Roles at Ajou University include Director of aging and public health research and Vice Dean for Research Affairs, emphasizing the training of future leaders and advising government on related policies. Previous positions include a Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, a Visiting Scientist at Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins.
