Chiara Ajkun serves as the Artistic Director of Ajkun Ballet Theatre since 2000, having previously been appointed in 1985 by the “Università degli Studi di Danza e Teatro” and serving with the “Balletto Regionale di Mantova.” Chiara has choreographed over 40 ballets, including renowned works such as Romeo & Juliet, Cinderella, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, and Carmen, noted for combining outstanding technique with dramatic expression. As a Ballet Mistress, Chiara specializes in the education of professional dancers and ballet teachers, contributing significantly to the artistic accomplishments of many notable performers. Additionally, Chiara was a choreographer for Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana S.p.A. from 1988 to 1994. Chiara holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from Harvard University, earned between 1975 and 1980.
