Hitoshi Murakami has been with Ajinomoto Co., Inc. since April 1998, progressing through various leadership roles including Associate General Manager of the Consumer Food Products Department and the Business Development Group in the Quick Nourishment Department, as well as General Manager of the Nutrition & Metabolism Science Group in both the Institute of Food Sciences and Technologies and the Institute for Innovation. Murakami began their professional career as a Researcher at Ajinomoto and holds a Doctor of Agriculture degree in Nutrition from Tohoku University, obtained in 1998.
