Michel May has worked in a variety of roles in the medical, startup, and government sectors. From 2019-2021, they were the Chief Executive Officer and Sales Director at Anzen Health LLC, a medical consultancy service. In 2018, they were the CEO & Founder of aizome.io, a company that makes hypoallergenic all natural fabrics. Michel was also a Consultant for Women's Startup Lab and the Hito Institute in 2018. From 2013-2017, they were the CFO & COO Brainlab Japan, where they helped increase service revenue and project lead in setting up a new office workspace and medical device warehouse. In 2017, they were a Consultant for \u65e5\u672c\u81d3\u5668\u88fd\u85ac\uff08\u682a\uff09. In 2012, they were the Band Manager for Josy. From 2011-2012, they were the Chairman (Part-time) for Waseda University - GSAPS Students' Association. From 2009-2011, they were a Project Trainee for the United Nations and a Business Development Assistant and Head Teacher for FOKUS Sprachen & Seminare Augsburg_Berlin. In 2009, they were an Intern for the German Foreign Office.
Michel May began their educational journey in 2001 when they attended Balthasar-Neumann-Realschule, where they obtained their Mittlere Reife in 2002. Michel then attended Gymnasium Icking, where they obtained their Abitur in 2003. From 2005 to 2006, they attended the University of Cambridge and obtained their Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). From 2006 to 2009, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and obtained a B.A. in East Asian Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy. From 2009 to 2010, they attended Guilin University of Technology, where they studied English and Mandarin. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Waseda University and obtained a Master's degree in Political Economy. From 2014 to 2014, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and obtained a Finance for Executives degree. In 2017, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and obtained an Executive Education in Health/Health Care Administration/Management, as well as a certificate in Innovative Leadership in Health Care. Michel is currently attending Stanford University School of Medicine for a Leadership Program.
