Kawa Rosta has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. They started their career as a Trainee at STUK - Säteilyturvakeskus, where they worked on determining the accuracy of ionization chambers and semiconductor detectors in mammography imaging. After that, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Helsinki, where they calibrated and inspected x-ray detectors. They then became a Project Employee at Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where they investigated the quality of oxide layers used for surface passivation. Their next role was as a Lab Engineer at Microsoft, where they were a part of the MS HoloLens team and worked on optical verification, waveguide characterizations, and fringe measurements. Most recently, they have been a PhD Student at ICFO, focusing on their research. They are currently working as a Process Engineer at AIXTRON SE.
Kawa Rosta completed a Bachelor's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the University of Helsinki from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Health/Medical Physics at the same institution from 2016 to 2017.
