Orkhan Guseynov has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2010. Orkhan started their career at Yandex as a Search Quality Analyst in 2010. In 2015, they moved to Health Gorilla as a Senior Software Engineer in Test. In 2016, they joined Juno Inc. as a Senior Mobile Engineer in Test. In 2018, they became Test Engineering Lead/Head of Test Engineering at BTSDigital. In 2019, they took on the role of Engineering Manager at FREE NOW. Orkhan is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Aiven, a position they have held since 2022.

Orkhan Guseynov has an extensive educational background. In 2010, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematical Modelling of Political and Economical Processes from the Russian University of Humanities. In 2011, they conducted PhD research in Game Theory at Sapienza Università di Roma. From 2005 to 2010, they obtained a Master's degree in Political Science from the Russian State University for the Humanities. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Building Your Visibility as a Leader from LinkedIn in October 2021, Algorithms for developers from Yandex School of Data Analysis in December 2020, and Math and Python for Data analytics from Coursera in December 2017.
