Laura Colaço has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Master Thesis Student at the Universidade do Algarve. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Data Analyst at PSE - Produtos e Serviços de Estatística, Lda, where they were responsible for manipulating, cleansing and processing data, analyzing raw data, drawing conclusions and developing recommendations, advising on the suitability of methodologies and suggesting improvements, and performing statistical modelling and data mining. From 2018 to 2020, they worked at OLX Group as a Product Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Engineer. Since 2020, they have been a Product Analytics at Delivery Hero. Currently, they are an Analytics Engineer at Aiven.

Laura Colaço has a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Sciences from the Universidade do Algarve, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Laura also holds a Licentiate degree in the same field from the same university, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they studied Biological/Biosystems Engineering at the Universidade do Algarve from 2007 to 2008. Laura is currently enrolled in a Postgraduate Program in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence at NOVA IMS Information Management School. Additionally, Laura Colaço has obtained certifications from Udemy, Udacity, dbt Labs, IBM, and DataCamp.
