Calum Muir has been working in the technology industry since 2017. Calum began their career at Siemens as a Graduate Engineer, where they took on a broad range of responsibilities from procuring, installing and managing servers to developing a nationally used quoting tool and working on the creation of a Digital Building concept using the NavVis platform. In 2018 they founded Building Innovation Management. From 2019 to 2021 they worked at NavVis as an Advanced Solution Engineer and Solution Engineer. Currently, they are a Senior Solutions Engineer at Twilio and is set to become a Solutions Architect at Aiven in 2023.

Calum Muir completed a Master of Engineering - MEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with International Study from the University of Strathclyde between 2010 and 2015. During this time, they also studied at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2013 to 2014.
