José Manuel Ramos Fernández has extensive experience in research and project management, currently serving as the Head of R&D Group in Defence, Applied Chemistry and Energy at AITEX since 2013, where responsibilities include leading research initiatives in these fields. Additionally, José Manuel coordinates AITEX's participation in international research projects as an International Project Manager and assesses the technical quality of research proposals as a Project Evaluator for the European Commission's H2020 program. Prior positions include a Marie Curie Fellowship at MAST Carbon International Ltd., post-doctoral research at AIDICO, and guest research roles at various universities, focusing on materials development for construction and energy applications. José Manuel obtained a degree in Chemistry from the University of Granada and conducted doctoral research involving carbon materials and catalysis.
