Arvind Verma has extensive experience in maintenance and engineering within the steel industry, currently serving as Chairperson at the Association for Iron & Steel Technology since April 2014. Previously, Arvind held the position of Advisor and Chief Maintenance at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India from May 2016 to March 2020, where a sustainable model for plant reliability was developed, alongside a lean maintenance platform. As VP & Head Maintenance at Essar Steel from June 2008 to November 2015, Arvind implemented comprehensive maintenance systems recognized for global benchmarking. Past roles include Head of Maintenance at Global Steel Holding Ltd. and positions at Steel Authority of India Limited. Arvind's educational background includes a Master of Technology from NIT-Rourkela and a Bachelor of Technology from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
