Tim Delany is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications, navigation, and surveillance engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Engineer at Airways New Zealand since February 2017, Tim has previously held roles as an Operations Specialist for Google's Project Loon, where responsibilities included the assembly, testing, and management of stratospheric balloons across multiple countries. Tim’s background also includes significant contributions as an Electronics and IT Engineer at the University of Canterbury, and as a Lead Science Technician at Antarctica New Zealand, where operations were conducted in challenging remote conditions.
