Iain Mackenzie has extensive experience in air traffic control, currently serving as an Air Traffic Controller at Airways New Zealand since November 2018, where radar ATC services are provided for multiple airports in Christchurch. Prior to this, Iain worked at Dubai Air Navigation Services from April 2016 to September 2018 as an Air Traffic Controller and ATC Examiner, overseeing approach radar and maintaining examiner qualifications. Between September 2006 and April 2016, Iain was employed by Serco as both an Air Traffic Control Examiner and an Air Traffic Controller, offering approach radar control for key airports in Dubai. Earlier in Iain's career, from February 1988 to August 2006, a variety of air traffic control roles were undertaken at ATNS, providing services across numerous South African locations. Iain Mackenzie holds education credentials from the College of Air Traffic Control and Selborne College, with studies spanning from 1986 to 1992.
