David Castelow is a highly experienced Principal Systems Engineer with over two decades at Airspan, focusing on LTE and WiMAX base station physical layer design and development since 2001. Prior to Airspan, David served as a Systems Engineer at Zarlink Semiconductor, where responsibilities included DVB-T receiver design and error correction coding techniques such as Viterbi and Turbo codes. David's career began at GEC Hirst Research, where significant contributions were made in computer vision research, robotics, image processing, and video compression from 1985 to 1999. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Imperial College London.
