We are a passionate and ambitious team of 120+ people on a mission to succeed with our online PDF creator and editor –  pdfFiller. pdfFiller empowers over 10 million users every month to create and edit PDFs, send them for signing, and securely store documents within a single application. Offering unlimited storage, unlimited templates, and cross-platform integration, pdfFiller is the only PDF editor needed to get your document done.

Editor Unit focuses on delivering seamless and efficient document editing capabilities within the pdfFiller product. The team works on enhancing user experiences related to document creation, editing, and collaboration, ensuring reliability, speed, and scalability.

Mission: To empower individuals and businesses to edit and manage their documents effortlessly, while maintaining the highest standards of usability and security.

Team Goals:

  • Develop and maintain robust editing features that meet user needs.
  • Continuously optimize performance to handle high document volumes.
  • Introduce innovative tools that improve editing workflows.
  • Ensure a reliable and bug-free user experience across all platforms.

  • The team works on the post-sign-up user journey, emphasizing document engagement, editing efficiency, and feature adoption to drive conversions and user retention.

We are using:

  • JavaScript, TypeScript , Babel;
  • React , Hooks;
  • Redux, Redux-saga, Redux-thunk, Reselect.

What you'll be working on:

  • Development of new product features;
  • Support and refactoring of existing functionality;
  • Working to improve product performance;
  • Opportunity to propose and implement your ideas.

What we expect from you:

  • At least three years of JS or TS programming experience;
  • Experience with React, Redux (thunk, saga);
  • Familiarity with Git;
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures;
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, npm/yarn, etc.;
  • Experience with WebSockets;
  • Experience with unit testing;
  • Visiting the office 2 times a week.
