Iyadh Khalfallah has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology and data science. Iyadh started their career in 2018 as a Freelance Full Stack Web Developer and later worked as a Web Development instructor at Go My Code, where they prepared and delivered web development courses while managing projects for trainees.
In 2019, Iyadh took on internships at Logis and Cognira, where they gained practical experience in data science. At Logis, they established a data scraping automation pipeline, analyzed real estate data, and implemented machine learning algorithms with high accuracy. At Cognira, they implemented a content-based and collaborative filtering recommender system in the retail industry, as well as designed and implemented a dashboard for analyzing product statistics.
In the same year, Iyadh also embarked on a traineeship at Phelps2020, where they focused on software engineering and computer vision. Iyadh implemented live streaming services using WebRTC, developed an object detection API using YOLOv3 and Flask, optimized bounding box browsing, and researched super resolution methods using generative models.
From 2019 to 2021, Iyadh co-founded and served as the President of Data Co-Lab, an artificial intelligence NGO in Tunisia. In this role, they established professional relationships with national sponsors and collaborators, managed engineering and research projects, and facilitated the gathering of Tunisian data scientists and enthusiasts.
In 2021, Iyadh worked as a Software Engineer at Airsiders GmbH, where they contributed to software engineering projects. Iyadh also had a brief stint as a Software Engineer Intern at A-LabInsider, where they gained further experience in software development.
Most recently, in 2022, Iyadh joined Jina AI as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing software solutions.
In 2023, Iyadh is set to join Airsiders as a Data Engineer, further expanding their expertise in the field.
Iyadh Khalfallah's education history begins in 2012 when they attended Lycée Carthage Byrsa and obtained a Baccalauréat degree in Sciences in 2016. They then went on to study Software Engineering at INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie from 2016 to 2021.
In terms of additional certifications, Iyadh Khalfallah has completed several courses on Coursera. In May 2020, they obtained certifications in "Sentiment Analysis with Deep Learning using BERT," "Perform Real-Time Object Detection with YOLOv3," and "Principal Component Analysis with NumPy." They also obtained a certification in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" in March 2020.
