Mark Scanlan is an experienced safety, security, and environmental sustainability leader currently serving as the Director at Airservices Australia since January 2023. Previously, Mark held significant roles including General Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment at SunWater and Program Management Consultant at Origin Energy, where responsibilities included risk management initiatives. Mark contributed to international disaster response efforts with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and has a strong background in business resilience, evidenced by previous positions at Qantas and Queensland Urban Utilities. Mark possesses an MBA from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (Emergency Management) from Charles Sturt University.
