Pieter Stobbelaar is a seasoned senior project manager currently at Airios since April 2023, following a notable tenure as an R&D project manager at Signify from May 2018 to April 2023, focusing on LED tubes and firmware integration. Prior to that, Pieter held various roles at Philips Lighting, including R&D Project Manager and Global R&D Program Manager, overseeing the development and management of lighting technologies such as CFLni lamps and RF connected LED tubes. Pieter's career began with significant contributions as a Group Manager Product Development and Project Manager at Philips Lighting and included early roles in process engineering and lamp innovation. Pieter earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, completing studies from 1995 to 2000, with earlier education in catalysis from the same institution.
