Rory Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and consultancy roles within the fields of development, security, and environmental technology. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Airhive since July 2022, Rory is focused on pioneering Direct Air Capture technology. Prior to this position, Rory held key leadership roles, including Team Leader for the Yemen Stability Fund and Director for the Iraq Business Competitiveness and Job Creation Initiative at Chemonics International. Rory's consultancy background includes significant contributions to counter-terrorism communications, stabilization, and security sector reform projects for both the UK and US governments. An accomplished academic, Rory holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford and certifications in finance and climate energy from prestigious institutions such as London Business School and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
